DIY Body Scrub

Hello beauties!

Today’s post is beauty related and a DIY as well! I’m going to show you how to make your own skin exfoliator and achieve amazing silky skin! Stick with me if you want to see how you can do it in the comfort of your own home without spending way too much money at the drugstore aisle once again! ( This is so me, btw! 😉 )

First things first, here is the 411 on the ingredients you are going to need! I usually make the skin exfoliator with coffee grounds and olive oil/coconut oil. If you’d like to you can add some sea salt for an extra exfoliating kick!

As you may know, caffeine is #1 enemy of cellulite; it tightens the skin and provides antioxidants to it when applied on a regular basis. It has been shown to reduce the appearance of cellulite over time if you use the scrub regularly. Now, any type of oil that you add to the coffee ground will moisturize your skin. My advice to you is to always use cold pressed coconut oil or extra virgin olive oil. Those types of oils are minimally produced, which means that you are going to get all of the benefits they could potentially provide for your well-being.

You can use the scrub once or twice a week depending on your skin type but be careful not to overdo it, because there is a good chance that your skin will be irritated afterwards.

And now here is what you’ll need: A bowl, about 2-3 tablespoons of the coffee grounds and 1 tablespoon olive oil/ coconut oil. Put the coffee ground and the oil into the bowl and mix well. Done! It is super easy, super effective and super inexpensive, which I really like!20150726_15273120150726_152658

Let me know in the comments below, if you have tried the scrub already and what you think about it. If you haven’t, I suggest you try it!

Love,
Vili
